Sunset End Grain Cutting Board

The Stag’s End Sunset end grain cutting board is a variation of the Ombre style cutting board.  It is made from a combination of Walnut, Cherry, and Maple wood. The dominate color of the board is the Walnut which helps define the sunset name. These three American hardwoods work well together and result in a very durable and high quality cutting board.  This end grain cutting board will be gentle on your knives and won’t dull your blades. Stag’s End treats each cutting board with our handmade blend of mineral oil and beeswax. Please oil regularly to avoid warping and cracking. It is important to remember to never put your wood cutting board into the dishwasher.  A dishwasher will ruin your cutting board.  You should always hand wash your cutting board according to our Board Care instructions. Some of our Sunset, end grain cutting boards are fairly consistent in color while others have more contrast between the reds and brown shades of the wood. Due to the natural variation of wood grain, your boards look and color balance will be unique.
